There is an exciting opportunity to join Onni's on-site Construction team as a **Construction Safety Supervisor**. This position will be responsible for both working on construction project sites assisting the Superintendent with labour work and fulfilling First Aid and Safety requirements.

**About you**:
Looking for an individual who will provide health and safety leadership and promotes a culture of health and safety commitment to our site. We are looking for an ambitious, organized, individual with an above standard high attention to detail to see perfectly executed finishes.

**Labouring duties include performing tasks involved in**:

- Opening and closing a site
- Perform any manual labour (clean up, sweeping, packing materials, etc.)
- Organize areas
- General construction maintenance
- All other duties assigned by Project Managers/Site Superintendents

**First Aid/Safety responsibilities include**:

- Daily safety site inspections
- Weekly/monthly reporting
- Provide site safety orientations for all visitors to the site
- Attending to any injuries on-site and providing appropriate treatment
- Reporting any injuries, near misses or hazards on site
- Provide inventory control of the first aid station and supplies
- All other duties as assigned

**Summary of Qualifications & Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years of residential construction experience
- Current OFA2 or OFA3 Certification
- Valid Fall Protection Certification
- Knowledge of BC Building Code and attention to detail an asset
- Proven performance in leadership and managing both people and construction sites
- Demonstrated effective communication and team-building skills
