**Responsibilities**:
**What your days look like as a Junior Project Manager**:

- Ensure projects are executed in accordance with contracts, plans and specifications.
- Ensure projects meet or exceed safety, cost, productivity, schedule, profitability and quality assurance and control objectives.
- Ensure ongoing cost control, management and forecasting of projects.
- Review and approve required project administration and documentation.
- Manage contractual agreements for projects to ensure they are reviewed, processed and executed.
- Prepare and collect progress invoices and holdbacks in a timely manner.
- Manage subcontractors and suppliers.
- Communicate with the client during project execution and develop and maintain client relationships.
- Negotiate contract terms, change management and claims.
- Provide safety leadership by ensuring that all company, client and legally mandated safety policies and procedures are met or exceeded.
- Ensure that all necessary project safety provisions and procedures are implemented on each project.

Qualifications:
**To succeed as a Junior Project Manager you must have**:

- Undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science, Business or related discipline is an asset.
- Proficient computer skills (MS Office & MS Project at a minimum).
- Minimum of five (5) years or work experience, including three (3) years of project management experience related to Demolition, Environmental Remediation/Reclamation, Hazardous Waste Management is an asset.
- Work and/or travel in varied terrains, weather conditions, isolated locations and by various means of transportation.
- Solid communication and customer service skills.
