Peterbilt Manitoba Ltd. is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Red Seal Journeyman _Heavy Duty Truck Body Shop Technician_ to join the Winnipeg Body Shop Department. Reporting to the Body Shop Manager, the _Body Shop Technician_ will provide timely and quality repair, maintenance, and servicing of heavy-duty truck components.

**The Role**:

- Repair and replace various heavy-duty truck components
- Operate soldering equipment and use plastic filler to repair holes, dents, and seams
- Remove damaged fenders, panels, and grills using wrenches, cutting torch and bolt, or weld replacement parts into place
- File, grind, and sand repaired body surfaces using hand and power tools
- Mask and tape truck body surfaces in preparation for painting
- Repair and replace glass components (windows and windshields)
- Repair and replace interior components such as seat frame assembly, carpets, and floorboard insulation
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Red Seal Journeyman status in Heavy-Duty Truck Body Technician is required or a combination of work experience
- Superior interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of a team
- Demonstrated knowledge and comprehensive understanding of equipment, materials, and repair techniques
- Exemplary time management skills with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced work environment and produce positive results with diligent respect for deadlines
- Tenacious problem solver with the ability to identify problems and implement solutions with keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift 50lbs consistently and safely
