**Greenhawk equestrian bark and Fitz** is a specialty retailer of Equestrtian Tack and apparal, as well as dog grooming, pet care and so much more. We are currently seeking a Retail Sales Associate to join our team in Nottawa, ON ( Between Collingwood and Stayner )

**Job Summary**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers as they enter the store
- Provide accurate information about our products and services to customers
- Answer customers’ questions about our products, and services
- Receive deliveries and prepare them for sale or storage as needed
- Maintain clean store environment
- Assist with special projects as requested or available
- Process POS (point of sale) purchases or other methods of purchasing products and services as assigned by Store Manager
- Complete inventory checklists daily, starting with basic inventory check-in duties then move on to more complex tasks such as bar code scanning, ordering, receiving, and inventory maintenance.
- Handle returns of merchandise using proper procedures
- Other duties as assigned by Store Manager or Supervisor

**Education and Experience**:

- Retail sales experience preferred.
- Prior experience with horses/equestrian equipment is preferred.
- Willing to learn about product including dog foods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 per week

**Salary**: From $15.60 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 40 per week

- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Afternoon shift
- Day shift

Work setting:

- Apparel store

**Experience**:

- sales: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: In person

Expected start date: 2023-08-31
