We are currently looking for - **ICI Chief Estimator**
- Review drawings and specifications and identify the divisions of work.
- Study plans and specifications clarifying location and document discrepancies
- Coordinate and execute, site visits, pre-bid form, set up summary sheet, and bonding and insurance requirements.
- Prepare sub-trade request list for estimating assistant.
- Solicit bidders, prepare a sub-trade request list for distribution, and note special trades to be personally called.
- Deal with the RFI's internally and from sub-trades and log.
- The ability to conduct a cut and fill take-off, excavation backfill, site servicing, formwork, concrete quantities, and pricing is a must.
- Ability to work on unit-rate tenders and perform take-off in direct relation to the units.
- Ability to attend site visits, take pictures, notes, and interact with owner/consultant.
- Ability to build a preliminary tender schedule based on the major and long delivery dates and review with project team.
- Preparation of the closing sheet and tender form where possible in advance.
- Ability to identify risk, or value engineering.
- The ability to close a division or more during a tender.
- The ability to perform Class D, C, B and A budgets and meet deadlines.
- Ability to Manage 2-3 estimators or schedulers to meet the required deadlines.
- Other responsibilities as required.
- Coordination of technical training and/or related ICI experience.
- Computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Project, Google workspace, and Procore.
- The proven ability to successfully manage a tender call from start to finish.
- Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods), industry practices, estimating/budgeting, scheduling, and safety requirements.
- Analytical and strong problem-solving ability
- Attention to detail
- Self-starter with an excellent attitude and initiative
- Ability to manage a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$140,000.00 per year
