Commissionaires’ team is comprised of former military, police, and others of all ages. Our employees work in a variety of roles such as General Security, Alarm Response, Concierge and Support to Law Enforcement, and Support to Government.

As part of our ever-expanding work force, we are looking for an ID Services/Fingerprint Technician for our Red Deer Office.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

**Job Purpose**

Reporting to the Regional Administrator, the ID Services / Fingerprint Technician position is responsible to provide identification and fingerprinting services and the processing of records for security clearance purposes.

**Skills/ Attributes Requirements**
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Previous fingerprint equipment experience (Strong Asset)
- Mandatory English fluency in oral and written communication
- Multitasker, with self-delegation and time management being essential skills for success in this position
- Excellent customer service skill with the ability to build and maintain effective customer relationships
- Ability to maintain moderately complex records
- Display good decision making, problem solving and communication skills
- Ability to obtain Government of Canada - Level 2 Security Clearance
- Previous Military/RCMP Experience is considered a strong asset
- 5 years of customer service experience (preferred)

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Perform digital and manual fingerprint work for applicants and process Canadian Police Information Checks.
- Prepare clearance certificates, contact clients when certificates are ready for pick up.
- Perform reception duties including, but not limited to checking in appointments, processing applicants as needed, collecting fees, and issuing receipts.
- Maintain daily data sheet relating to client needs and provide weekly counts relating to numbers, revenue, and net revenue.
- Assist the Branch Administrator with the maintenance and control of clothing stores.
- Assist the Branch Administrator with maintenance of employee personnel files.
- Performs other related duties as required.
