Head of Facility Management

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Responsible for the proper maintenance and operation of F. LIST CANADA's facilities, equipment, infrastructure and key assets (e.g. cars and housing properties)
- Project management for the acquisition of machines and equipment in production and the expansion into new sites
- Budget responsibility, recurring maintenance costs, investment and resource planning
- Elicitation and implementation of improvement and cost reduction potentials
- Ensure compliance to F. LIST CANADA’s maintenance program and procedures
- Ensure legal and statutory requirements such as fire protection, waste, environmental technology and occupational safety
- Management of car and housing acquisition, assignment/utilization and maintenance according to business needs
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the maintenance team (including IT)

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Relevant completed technical education
- Many years of professional and management experience in a comparable position
- Familiarity with machinery and infrastructure (including IT), enough to manage direct reports or manage external suppliers
- Independent, solution-oriented and structured way of working
- Decision-making skills and strong communication skills
- Very good command of English and French
- Ability to travel within the Greater Montreal region, international travel is an asset
