***The Opportunity**:
WSP E&I has a new opportunity for an Intermediate Hydrogeologist to join our Mining, Geo-Environment & Engineering group on a full-time basis based in Vancouver.

In addition to strong technical skills, you will also have knowledge and experience with applicable legislation, regulations, guidelines, and standards within Canada, and demonstrate the successful management and delivery of projects, meeting WSP’s high standards for quality and client satisfaction. This will be utilized to provide outstanding client service and advisory solutions to help our clients solve complex problems

**A day in the life**:

- Groundwater data analysis, field testing and assisting in groundwater modeling work (as an asset) as projects require.
- Compilation, reduction, and analysis of water well testing or chemical data, proposal preparation, and reporting.
- Conduct field investigations including drilling, core logging, monitoring well installations, slug test, aquifer testing programs, groundwater, surface water and soil sampling
- Oversee drilling and excavation programs. Manage soil, groundwater and surface water quality data. Complete data analysis which may include hydraulic conductivity tests (slug test), pump tests Support in the preparation of groundwater and remediation reports.
- Interpret analytical laboratory results
- Perform data analysis and data visualization utilizing GIS, Surfer or other three-dimensional data-visualization software
- Support writing of technical proposals and reports
- Support Project Manager’s planning, execution, and delivery of hydrogeology-related projects.
- Adhere to safe work practices and company/client guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe manner
