**Temporary position - replacement of sick leave**

Air Inuit has been providing essential scheduled, charter, cargo and emergency air transportation services to Nunavik and beyond, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, for 45 years. Owned collectively by the Inuit of Nunavik through the Makivik Corporation, the airline operates a fleet of 30 aircraft and employs over 1,000 people in one of the world's most demanding flying environments.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES**
- Check-in passengers and proceed with the baggage handling as well as screening of cabin baggage;
- Prepare flight, check-in, ticket and manifest documents;
- Transmit the flight documents to dispatch in addition to other stations;
- Perform certain administrative work;
- All other duties deemed necessary by the company in order to ensure the effectiveness of the operation.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience;
- Basic knowledge of Office software such as Word, Excel, Outlook;
- The capacity to learn passenger check-in programs;
- Hold a valid driving license;
- Ability to communicate in at least 2 of the following languages: Inuktitut, French, English;
- Good communication skills in both speaking and writing;
- The capacity to offer excellent customer service;
- Punctual and reliable;
- Available to travel occasionally for training;
- Available to work evenings, nights and weekends;
- If the position is filled locally, the work location will be Kuujjuaq;

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Rotational - 3 weeks of work followed by 3 weeks OFF
- If the position is not filled locally - air transportation from Montreal or Quebec, room and board will be provided.

**COMPENSATION**
- Compensation and benefits are determined in accordance with corporate policy
- Annual salary starting at $42,716.
- Northern Allowance $10,500 (if applicable)
