Childcare Assistant

**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times.
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
- Provide care and support for children's physical, emotional, and social needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
- Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Assist in managing daily routines such as meals, naps, and playtime.

**Qualifications**
- Experience working with children in a caregiving or educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to create engaging lesson plans that educate while entertaining children.
- Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with young learners.
- A background in classroom management is beneficial but not required.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $20.20-$22.20 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call

- Secondary School (preferred)
