**MANUFACTURING QUALITY TECHNICIAN (AEROSPACE)**

Our Manufacturing Quality Technician is responsible for conducting physical quality control inspections on machined and assembled parts. The Quality Assurance inspector analyzes / inspects machines, machine processes/set up's material requirements, and randomly conducts sample product inspections throughout the design phase up to and including shipping of finished product. Quality Assurance is involved in the design, evaluation, documentation and training of product specifications and operating procedures.

Your Objective:

- Inspect completed parts as well as conduct random, sample inspections, notify supervisor(s) and employee(s) of inspection discrepancies
- Cross-reference and verify part measurements; part number markings, tooling numbers, and check machines and tooling for current calibration
- Ensure ISO standards are reviewed and followed
- Verify compliance adherence, prepare quality reports and corrective action recommendations
- Perform calibration and inspection on all production test equipment

**NOTE: This position is NOT focused on inspecting welds or welding processes.**

Success Requires:

- Must have strong communication skills.
- Three to Five years progressive experience.
- Ability to use measurement tools, read blueprints, and drawings
- Good working knowledge of different types of metals is required
- Computer literacy and excellent math skills is required
- A grade twelve diploma or equivalent is a requirement
- Related education, courses or certifications is a significant asset.
- Knowledge of ISO or equivalent quality standards is an asset.
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize and anticipate potential urgencies or setbacks
- Demonstrated positive attitude, initiative, the ability to work well with others and mínimal supervision.
