Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and schedule the transportation of goods and materials using transportation management systems.
- Communicate with drivers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery of shipments.
- Analyze shipping and receiving data to optimize supply chain efficiency.
- Use SyteLine software to track inventory and manage orders.
- Monitor freight rates and negotiate contracts with carriers.
- Provide excellent customer service through effective phone etiquette and communication.
**Experience**:
- Previous experience as a dispatcher or in a similar role is preferred.
- Familiarity with transportation management systems and SyteLine software is a plus.
- Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and supply chain processes.
- Ability to type quickly and accurately.
- Proficient in using phone systems for communication.
