Summary

The Furniture Sales Specialist is responsible for selling furniture products, goods, and services to Bradford Greenhouses customers, as well as the distribution sales of Atleve furniture. They will build relationships with customers, pitch products or services, negotiate sales prices, contact customers throughout the sales process, and answer questions about the products. The Furniture Sales Specialist will also be responsible for handling any warranty issues, and the set-up and facilitation of the Atleve furniture annual distribution showroom. Other duties will be assigned as necessary.

Job Duties
- Present, promote and sell furniture products/services to existing and potential customers
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes withing schedule.
- Source new customers and conduct site visits, including reaching out to customer leads through cold calling.
- Maintain detailed and accurate files such as customer databases, order details, and warranty information.
- Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients (distribution).
- Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction.
- Collaborate with store, marketing, and creative teams to coordinate sales efforts.
- Work with the furniture purchaser to ensure orders (new and warranty/replacement items) are placed.
- Visiting clients or potential clients to evaluate needs and promote products.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Produce reports on sales events which include obstacles and opportunities encountered.
- Other duties shall be assigned as required.

**Requirements**:

- Secondary School Diploma required.
- Post Secondary School Diploma in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field required.
- 3-5 years' sales experience preferred.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.

Work Conditions
- Manual dexterity required to operate telephone, computer and peripherals.
- Interacts with employees, management, volunteers and the public at large.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Irregular hours.
- Overtime may be required.
- Fast paced environment and position.
