Nanny/caregiver

Duties:

- Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
- Bathe, dress and feed children
- Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens
- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
- Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals
- Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers for infants
- Supervise and care for children
- Tend to emotional well-being of children
- Organize, activities such as games and outings for children
- Provide attentive and responsible care for children in a safe and nurturing environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities
- Maintain a clean and organized play area
- Ensure children's well-being, including monitoring their health and safety
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's activities and progress

**Experience**:

- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or babysitting setting is preferred
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to multitask - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, creativity, and a positive attitude

Qualifications:

- Must love children, have childcare experience,
- Have excellent communication skills,
- Be dependable and organized,
- Patience, flexibility, upbeat and positive attitude
- Ability to travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
- Must be comfortable with Dog

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Burlington, ON: reliably commute or be willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (required)

Licence/Certification:

- CPR Certification (preferred)
