**What you do**:
Reporting to the Director of Support Services and Design, the primary function of this role is to provide support and play a critical role in the development, communications and maintenance of Design standards, systems and vendor management. This position would also be responsible for ensuring building design standards are maintained along with Prototype drawings and communicated to Development team. The scope includes but is not limited to building design, interior design, implementation of branding, sourcing of product and driving innovative solutions and industry best practice around restaurant design in a responsibly financial matter.

In this role, you will be expected to:

- Update and Manage Prototype Drawings and Specifications
- Support in Development of CAD floor plans and renderings
- Update and issue Design Bulletins to Design Communications to Internal and external Contacts
- Manage Database of CAD/File for design
- Be responsible for the accuracy/integrity of drawings related to details, specifications, budgeting, unit pricing.
- Review construction drawings
- Provide end-user support and direction to outside consultants
- Maintain data-base of standards, finishes, leads research, development, pricing for new sourcing of finishes, materials, and equipment as needed.
- Develop and manage vendors and suppliers, including inventory management and cost control
- Communicate to broader design and construction team on a regular basis on standards, changes to standards
- Maintain and understand current knowledge of codes, municipal by-laws, inspection, estimating and planning.
- Work closely with other teams (marketing, procurement, construction, operations, Franchisees)
- Provide design support to external consultants
- Provide support to Restaurants for FFE items, repair and Maintenance support
- Other duties as required.

**Who you are**:

- You have a degree in Architecture, Interior Design or any other related field
- You have restaurant and retail experience with experience in national chains
- You have Vendor/ Supplier Management experience (FF&E)
- You have knowledge of restaurant kitchen equipment
- You have 100% proficiency in AutoCad, MS office and most current rendering software, knowledge of Sketch-up, and Photoshop; knowledge of Illustrator is an asset
- You have excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and graphically able to communicate; Bilingual (English/French) is a plus
