**We are looking for an outstanding Financial Analyst who wants to leave a tangible legacy**:

- Someone who masterfully works an excel spreadsheet and enjoys doing it. Performs complex formulas individually and recommends strategies that maximize efficiency and output to share with the rest of the team.
- Possesses a Finance &/or Accounting background and wants to grow in this area.
- You’re happy being both supportive & supported, but ultimately want to be an independent contributor that makes a BIG impact in this newer industry
- Drive to take on new challenges with the self-motivation to continue to develop and grow self and others
- Bring experience in finance and accounting with a view to constantly improve processes and outcomes

- Desire to grow alongside the company and have fun along the way

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare various financial analyses, including financial forecasts, budgets, variance analysis, product cost models and summary information for use in management reporting
- Maintain accurate product costs (standard, actual, and cost variances) to support profitability analysis
- Track and report on inventory, production costs, and variances, ensuring accurate cost accounting
- Prepare weekly internal reports for specific stakeholders
- Assist in the monthly close process such as posting journal entries for accruals or corrections
- Creation, maintenance and improvement of data collection and analysis
- Assist with quarterly and annual audits
- Other duties may be as assigned as needed to ensure the efficient operation of the department

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree & concentration in related field (Finance, Accounting)
- Working towards CPA designation is an asset
- Experience in manufacturing cost accounting / analysis considered an asset
- 3-4 years’ relevant experience
- Excel proficiency & experience (intermediate/complex formulas) - Power Query is an asset
- Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize, manage tasks, and meet deadlines
- Attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership of your work
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Be a trusted advisor and partner to the business as this role will be supporting a number of teams
