_**Material Handling - Paid Skills Training**_

Briken Coatings is an owner-operated family business specializing in powder coating. Powder coating is applied to metal and then baked in an oven using our large conveyor line. We have been in business since 1993 and process high quality product with rapid turnaround.

**Essential Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Hang or Remove product from conveyor line, visually inspect for quality defects and handle with care.
- Must be able to comfortably perform job duties keeping up with machine output rate.
- Maintaining a neat and organized workspace.
- Preform other duties as required.

**Desired Skills and Physical Requirements**:

- Quick thinking and calm under pressure.
- Lifting, Carrying, Moving (=60 pounds).
- This position is Labour Intense and hot during the summer.
- Memorization and Recall
- Physically fit
- Able to preform repetitive tasks
- Strong work ethic

**Qualifications**:

- Must be available and willing to work as needed in a fast paced environment.
- Experience working in Manufacturing
- Experience with Conveyor Lines an asset
- Experience with Powder Coating an asset.
- **Starting wage without relevant experience is $17/hour and will be reassessed after two weeks of employment and then once a month over the next three months. There is an opportunity to advance into a lead position within One (1) year.**_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $17.00-$20.00 per hour
