Overview:
BW Gold is a wholly owned subsidiary of Artemis Gold Inc (“Artemis”). Artemis is listed on the TSX Venture exchange, and is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with strong financials aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining friendly jurisdictions. Our current focus is construction of the Blackwater Mine in central British Columbia approximately 160km southwest of Prince George and 450km northeast of Vancouver.

You will have the ability to make a significant contribution to the project team as the Company pursues the disciplined development of the Blackwater Mine. Artemis Gold received its BC Mines Act permit for Blackwater Mine in March 2023 enabling the project to move into major works construction.

Reporting to the Superintendent - Training, the Trainer - Processing is responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of processing plant personnel.

Schedule: 2 weeks on - 2 weeks off

**Responsibilities**:
- Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems.-
- Design and develop training materials, including presentations, manuals, simulations, and hands-on exercises, to effectively convey technical concepts and operational procedures.- Deliver training sessions and workshops on various topics, such as ore processing methods, equipment operation, process control systems, and safety protocols.- Conduct assessments and evaluations to measure the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.- Provide one-on-one coaching and support to employees to reinforce learning and address individual training needs.- Keep abreast of industry trends, best practices, and new technologies in mineral processing and incorporate them into training programs as appropriate.- Assist the operational readiness and support operations in Processing Plant commissioning.- Assist with plant auditing to comply with legislative requirements and ensure consistency in processes and standards, including maintenance of assessment and training records and licenses.

Qualifications:

- Diploma or degree in mineral processing, metallurgical engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent is preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in mineral processing operations, with hands-on experience in processing plant operations is required.
- Previous experience in training and development, instructional design, or adult education is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mineral processing principles, practices, and equipment.
- Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
- Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and learning management systems (LMS).
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to work at a remote location camp on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks off rotation.
- Comfortable working and living in close quarters with the team.
- Ability to maintain high levels of performance over 12-hour shift
