We are hiring a Junior IT QA Analyst

**The Role**:

**What you will do**:

- Work on an agile scrum team using Microsoft Azure DevOps to review requirements and track work.
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans, test suites in Microsoft Azure DevOps
- Identify, document and track bugs thoroughly throughout the testing life cycle.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Liaise with internal teams (e.g., developers, QA Analysts, and Business Analysts) to work through business and system requirements, for test planning purposes.
- Participate in system updates and project releases.
- Support development teams with production issue fixes
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Manager.

**The Requirements Needed**:

- Completed post secondary education in a related field and has 0 - 1 years of experience in software development testing.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and best practices
- Understanding of agile practices and the Scrum framework.
- Experiencing using Microsoft Azure DevOps or Teams Foundation Server (TFS) an asset.
- 4+ years’ experience with First National systems and practices an asset.
- Excellent communication, analytical thinking, decision making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to self-motivate, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Ability to think independently, problem solve, and grasp new concepts quickly.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
