Babysitter/nanny

I'm a 35-year old woman with Lou Gehrig's disease looking for an energetic and fast-paced individual to help take care of my two daughters, 5 and 3, under my direction. I can walk and talk, but I have very limited use of my hands and arms.

We are a neurodivergent family, so if you are as well this would be a great job for you

**Duties**:

- Provide attentive and nurturing care for children in a safe and secure environment
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities, including playtime, educational games, and arts and crafts
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks for children
- Assist with toileting and bathing
- Maintain a clean home
- Follow parents' instructions regarding daily routines, discipline, and any specific needs or preferences

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in childcare or related field preferred
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
- Ability to create a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment for children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus

Please note that this is not a daycare position. The role of the babysitter/nanny is to provide individualized care for children in their own homes.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 5-20 per week

**Salary**: $18.00 per hour
