Behavioral Interventionist

We are seeking a playful and animated individual who is passionate about engaging children and has experience in early childhood education. This is a unique opportunity to work with a 5-year-old boy on the autism spectrum. The role is part of a home-based, multi-treatment program in the Toronto East End.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Implement a play-based program with a strong focus on socialization and language learning
- Utilize Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) strategies and principles
- Maintain a creative, engaging, and supportive learning environment
- Shadowing at school: Accompany the child to school, helping to facilitate social interactions and provide support in the classroom setting

**Hours & Location**:

- Part-time: 6-28 hours per week, with an option for weekend sessions
- Work location is Toronto East End, Victoria Park Rd near Lawrence

**Experience & Qualifications**:

- Minimum of one year experience in early childhood care, teaching, or post-graduate studies in a related field
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
