Job Title: Hair colorist/Barber/Hair stylist/ Apprentice

Overview:
Join our team as a Hair colourist/Barber/Hair Stylist and showcase your talent in providing top-notch grooming services to our valued clients. We are looking for a skilled individual who is passionate about hair styling, customer service, and creating unique looks to enhance our clients' experience.

**Responsibilities**:

- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their grooming preferences and deliver tailored services
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and tools to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Perform a variety of grooming services including haircuts, beard trims, shaves, colouring, makeu and etc.
- Provide exceptional customer service by actively listening to clients' needs and offering professional advice
- Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, managing bookings, and processing payments
- Utilize upselling techniques to promote salon products and additional services for an enhanced client experience
- Engage in retail sales of grooming products to meet sales targets

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Hair colourist/ Barber/ Hair stylist in a salon, spa or similar setting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Proficiency in various grooming techniques and trends
- Prior experience in retail sales is advantageous
- Certification or license in cosmetology or barbering is required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Freelance, Apprenticeship, Internship / Co-op

Contract length: 24 months

Pay: $15.00-$23.00 per hour

- Execute various hair colouring techniques with precision and creativity
- Upsell salon products and additional services to enhance the client's overall experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and tools to ensure a safe and hygienic environment
- Provide outstanding customer service by actively listening to clients' desires and offering professional advice
- Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling, bookings, and processing payments

**Experience**:

- Proven experience as a Hair Colourist in a salon or similar setting
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients
- Proficiency in a wide range of hair colouring techniques and trends
- Prior experience in retail sales is advantageous
- Certification or license in cosmetology or hair colouring is required

Pay: $16.55-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
