**About the role**:
Reporting to the Director of Inventory Control, the Inventory Control Supervisor will manage a team of Inventory Control (IC) Analysts, as wells as lead members of the operations team to ensure all inventory related KPI targets are achieved, while improving the inventory workflow and inventory control systems at each warehouse. **This role will rotationally cover the morning and afternoon shift. This opportunity is covering a **6 **month Maternity Leave.**

**You will**:

- Lead and manage a team of IC Analysts (training, performance management, engagement, hiring, etc.)
- Travel to each of the three warehouses weekly and work closely with onsite IC Analysts to perform daily cycle counts, monitor inventory accuracy while resolving any errors or discrepancies in a timely manner
- Build strategic alliances with cross-functional partners in Supply Chain, Operations, and Continuous Improvement
- Maintain inventory control records and prepare management reports
- Analyze actual sales compared to forecast and identify cause/effect relationship of variances
- Make recommendations for corrective actions based on on-going analysis

**Your qualifications include**:

- 2+ years of experience in leading and managing a team
- Strong leader with the ability to solve problems in an expedient manner
- Strong communicator with the ability to build relationships and negotiate
- 5+ years of experience working in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution centre environment
- Thorough knowledge of technical aspects of warehouse operational processes including storage solutions, data management, inventory management, and/or warehouse racking/design
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and previous experience using an ERP system (preferred)
- Ability to travel and work at other locations as required
