**The Opportunity**:
Are you a Joint Venture (JV) Analyst who can adapt to changing environments and handle multiple priorities? If so, we may have the position for you As a JV Analyst on the Financial Risk Management (FRM) team, you can help make a difference by being a part of the management, oversight and alignment of third party financial risk activities within the JV organization and act as a point of contact for other internal stakeholders (Accounting, Land, Legal, Marketing, etc).

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Protect the companies “bottom line” by collectively managing the accounts receivable process with JV Accounting (including but not limited to detailed account summaries, default and demand notices, assisting in dispute resolution and litigation support)
- Review, analyze and manage third party Assignments that pertain to JV Agreements, by working with and supporting Land and Legal Teams
- Utilize knowledge of contractual remedies to complete detailed recommendations for account strategy
- Regular status updates for leadership to highlight progress, identify risks and ensure alignment
- Identify areas where there are continuous improvement opportunities, propose, plan and execute the project

**Other Details**:

- Job location: Calgary, Alberta
- Shift schedule: 5x2 - Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day
- This is a 12 month temporary position

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Relevant Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with four years of related joint venture and/or contract management experience
- Completion of the Petroleum Joint Ventures Association (PJVA) certificate is considered an asset
- JV Accounting/Production Accounting/Finance experience would be considered an asset
- Key Competencies include:

- Commercial mindset and detail oriented
