**Purpose**
- Support and assist all areas of financial planning and forecasting
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting to business leaders

**Key Responsibilities**

**BUSINESS PLANNING AND FORECASTING**
- Supports and assists all areas of financial planning of the P&L, capital expenditures and working capital including:_
- Preparation and analysis of periodic forecasting, latest estimates, variances versus budget of period and year-to-date results, forecast accuracy assessments
- Compilation, consolidation and reporting of the annual business plan (budget), preparation of templates, communication of the process timelines & development of key assumptions
- Modeling of mid and long term financial planning objectives and outcomes
- Provides decision-making support (modeling, data extraction, what-if scenarios) for proposed capital expenditures (ie., lease vs. own), inventory management, cash flow projections, pro-forma financial statements for new business opportunities
- Assists with the preparation of presentation material of all business planning outcomes and initiatives for Senior Leadership, functional leadership and fellow team members

**FINANCIAL REPORTING AND ANALYSIS**
- Delivers accurate & timely reporting of business results by:_
- Preparing scheduled reporting packages in accordance with ASPE and detailed supporting analysis
- Preparing operating revenue and expense variance analysis to support accuracy and reasonability of financial results
- Compiling and reporting Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for senior management across multiple business segments
- Providing clear, concise and meaningful reporting and analysis to assist management in decision making
- Compiling reporting of financial results for bank covenant purposes
- Interpreting lease content and providing appropriate financial reporting and budgeting
- Preparing schedules and analysis for the annual review engagements and compilations

**Education/Experience/Skills/Abilities**
- Minimum 5 years combined experience in accounting and finance
- Previous experience strongly desired in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- Property management accounting is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (able to adapt to non-financial people)
- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
- Business acumen
- CPA designation
- Teamwork

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate a strong commitment to meeting deadlines
- Flexible and able to prioritize tasks

**Salary**: $55.00-$65.00 per year
