**Job Title**

**Fabrication Technician**

1. Project Coordination: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project specifications, timelines, and requirements. Coordinate fabrication activities to meet project milestones and deadlines.

2. Materials Management: Ensure all required materials and components are ordered, received, and properly stored. Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as needed.

3. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure that all fabricated components meet industry standards and client specifications. Conduct inspections and quality checks at various stages of fabrication.

4. Workforce Management: Supervise and provide guidance to the fabrication team, including welders, pipefitters, and technicians. Assign tasks, track progress, and provide training and support as needed.

5. Safety Compliance: Promote a culture of safety within the fabrication shop. Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed rigorously to minimize risks and accidents.

6. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of fabrication activities, including work orders, material receipts, and inspection reports. Generate progress reports for project managers and clients.

7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies in fabrication techniques and workflows. Implement best practices to enhance productivity and quality.

8. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with project stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and clients. Provide regular updates on project progress and any issues that may arise.

**Roles & Responsibilities**

As Fabrication Technician at Quantum Technology, you will play a vital role in overseeing and coordinating the fabrication of cryogenic and industrial piping systems. You will work closely with our skilled fabrication team to ensure the timely and efficient production of high-quality piping components. Your attention to detail, project management skills, and technical expertise will be critical in meeting project goals and exceeding client expectations.

**Required Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills/Experience**
- Proven experience in coordinating fabrication activities within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of cryogenic and industrial piping systems, materials, and fabrication techniques.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with quality control and safety standards in fabrication.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of skilled technicians and fabricators.
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.
- Knowledge of relevant software tools and systems for project tracking and inventory management is an asset.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field is preferred.
