**Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage all aspects of projects as required, including but not limited to quoting, planning, budgeting, scheduling, execution, risk management, safety, and quality control.
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously throughout the entire life cycle of the project.
- Successfully estimate, propose, and manage project scope and budget.
- Engage in client relationships through ongoing communication with the understanding of requirements and expectations.
- Oversee resource assignments and utilization while coordinating with department managers to ensure schedules stay on track.
- Attend client sites in order to determine project needs.
- Project manage key milestones and deliverables on multiple phases of small and large-scale projects.
- Ensure technical reviews are completed as necessary and provide recommendations for design improvements, when required.
- Communicate effectively with contractors responsible for completing various phases of projects.
- Participate in meetings and ensure effective communication with all stakeholders.
- Uphold safe work practices and participate in developing and maintaining our safety culture.

**Essential Skills and Qualifications**
- Demonstrated understanding of project management fundamentals - ideally has or is pursuing PMP certification or gold seal.
- Agile and responsive - ability to manage multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity and respond to competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
- Initiative and pragmatic judgment in problem solving and risk control/assessment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and Project.
- Persuasive communicator and skilled negotiator.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Functional expertise in architectural and/or mechanical discipline(s) or knowledge of process engineering.
- Familiarity with NBC, ABC or OBC building codes.

**Education/Experience**
- Completion of a degree, diploma, or certificate program from a recognized post-secondary organization.
- Minimum of three (3) years of direct project management experience in the industry or related field.
- Experience in a consulting environment and design build construction.
- Demonstrated understanding of the food, beverage, and/or pharmaceutical industries is a definite asset.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel as dictated by project requirements.

Attendance on-site at client’s facilities and presence before/after regular business hours, may be required. This is a majority in-office position with travel to active construction sites and client plant floor exposure in agri-food, pharmaceutical and hygienic environments.
