**The Opportunity**

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**

***
- ** **Oversee and manage all aspects of accounting operations for a diverse client portfolio**

***
- ** **Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize financial performance**

***
- ** **Create and implement financial policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting regulations**

***
- ** **Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting**

***
- ** **Collate and analyze financial data to provide forecasts, projections, and budget plans**

***
- ** **Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor in financial matters**

***
- ** **Monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records**

***
- ** **Stay updated on accounting standards and regulatory changes, ensuring compliance and best practices**

***
- ** **Provide guidance and coaching to team members and ensure their professional development**

***

**Qualifications**

***
- ** **Proven experience as a Financial Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar role, preferably in a professional services environment, for a minimum of 3 years**

***
- ** **5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience**

***
- ** **CPA designation**

***
- ** **Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting**

***
- ** **Proficiency with accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks suite) and open to learn new ERP systems**

***
- ** **Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills**

***
- ** **Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy and a focus on data integrity**

***
- ** **Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to clients and stakeholders**

***
- ** **Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
