Warehouse Clerk

**Qualifications**
- Class G Licence (required)
- Understand English (required)
- Understand Chinese (preferred)
- Warehouse: 3 years (preferred)
- Commercial driving: 3 years (preferred)
- Inventory management: 3 years (preferred)
- Forklift license (Prefered) or Willing to learn and complete the training
- Can lift 40lbs each hand

**Responsibilities**
- Equipment/Shop Management

1. Ensure sign in/sign out log is completed when Nextwood’s equipment is used.

2. Tag out all unsafe equipment and source proper repair/replacement option

3. Ensure the overall appearance of the shop and the remainder of the building
- both interior and exterior is well kept at all times;
4. Ensure the warehouse are clean and well maintained

5. Ensure basic supplies - such as water, toilet paper, paper towels and hand soap are stocked;
- Inventory Management

1. Assist with managing full inventory system to ensure stocking levels are maintained

2. Adhere to all warehouse processes to manage inventory effectively and be aware of all product in the warehouse;
3. Operate CMM router machine for special Fence orders.

4. Complete weekly inventory checks to ensure stock is maintained;
5. Frequently review stocking levels vs. selling history to increase or decrease inventory levels
- Daily Material Management

1. Complete scheduled pickups and ensure material is well labelled and organized in warehouse;
2. Complete emergency drop-offs - including picking up material and delivering to keep jobs on schedule
- Key Performance Metrics

1. Product pickup and receive

2. Special Parts manufacture

3. Inventory Management

4. Improved Monthly Efficiency

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- Loading/unloading material to and from trucks
- Operating forklifts, reach trucks and pallet trucks to load, unload and move material
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Sorting and organizing materials by department
- Maintaining accurate inventory records
- Routing materials to appropriate storage areas
- Stocking materials on shelves

CSA approved steel-toed shoes required.

Prior warehouse experience required.

**Experience**:

- Warehouse: 1 year
- Forklift operator: 2 years
