**The Opportunity**:
Hach is seeking a full time **Field Service Technician I** to join our team around the Moncton** **area.

**What Will I Be Doing?**

Working 40 hours per week (with **3-day weekends** every week except in the case of approved overtime), you’ll provide routine repair, calibrations, and preventative maintenance services for Hach equipment and instruments located on customer sites.

In your **company-provided Ford F-150**, with all travel expenses paid for by us, you will be traveling 75% of the time, supporting customers located predominately in the Moncton area.

With this opportunity, you can plan to be back at home after the majority of your shifts; however, depending on customer need, training, and team coverage, expect overnight stays here-and-there at **company-approved hotels** - employee safety is one of our topmost priorities

**What Qualifications Do I Need?**
- Bilingual position - **Fluent French and English are required**
- Previous experience with Preventative Maintenance and mechanical/technical troubleshooting is a must - we especially want to hear from you if you have previous experience as an Instrument Tech
- Proven ability to self-manage and take initiative; you are resilient, resourceful, and an expert at managing a busy workload with competing priorities.
- You have a valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.

- You completed a post-secondary program in a Technical field of study.
- You have previous experience in the environmental/water industry.
- You’re a go-getter and “lifelong learner” who is motivated by a job well done.
- You are technically, electrically, or mechanically inclined (a.k.a. you have a reputation for being “handy”).
