Winnipeg, Canada Youth For Christ Winnipeg Full time

Youth for Christ Winnipeg is looking for an energetic and enthusiastic individual to serve in the King Street Drop-In ministry as a Program Coordinator. Located at 333 King St, the King Street Drop-In serves to engage and equip youth to know and follow Jesus by providing a safe space for youth in surrounding neighborhoods to come and have fun, connect with peers and mentors, and to have the opportunity to learn about Jesus.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in developing, evaluating, and implementing relevant Drop-In programs.
- Provide leadership over assigned programs.
- Ensure youth are welcomed and connected with volunteers when they come to the Drop-In.
- Supervise participants at the Drop-In to ensure that rules and policies are being followed for their safety and well-being.
- Mentor and build meaningful relationships with youth through activities such as but not limited to one-on-one’s or activity groups.
- Recruit and equip volunteers as required.

**Requirements**:

- Maintain a close, intimate relationship with God as a devoted follower of Jesus Christ.
- Be an active participant in the life of a local church.
- Affirm and support our organization’s Community Covenant and Statement of Faith, and be committed to YFC’s mission.
- A post-secondary certificate and a minimum of one year of experience would be an asset.
- Experience working with youth of different cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds would be an asset.
- Embrace YFC’s core values with a strong heart for evangelism.
- Strong communication, organizational and administrative skills.
- Take initiative, pay close attention to details, and be willing to adapt.
- Able to work well in a team as well as on your own.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
