DeFord Contracting Inc. is looking for an _experienced and licensed_ **Class 1 Lowboy Driver** for Civil Construction city projects in and around the Greater Edmonton Area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Comply with safe working procedures and practices
- Operate and maintain equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Load/haul all types of heavy equipment on and off lowboy
- Ensure loads are secured
- Haul various equipment to and from site
- Perform other related duties as required

**Qualifications**:

- Valid Class 1 license with Air Brake endorsement
- 2+ years’ experience driving/operating Lowboy
- Excellent knowledge of city and surrounding areas
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Experience doing proper pre trip inspections
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Basic computer skills required
- Reliable and a positive attitude

**Salary**: $30.00-$36.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- driving/operating lowboys: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 1 License (required)
- CSTS 2020 (preferred)
- Clean 5 year Driver Abstract (please attach when applying) (preferred)
- Air Ticket (required)
