Position Summary:
Tacten is seeking professional, energetic and forward-thinking** Apprentice and JM IRATA Insulators **to support operations in Regina, SK area. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.
**Responsibilities**:
- Install insulation materials, such as foam, fiberglass, or mineral wool, to prevent heat transfer, reduce energy consumption, or control sound.
- Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas.
- Secure insulation in place using appropriate fasteners and adhesives.
- Regularly inspect insulation for signs of wear, damage, or degradation.
- Replace or repair insulation that has become compromised.
- Recommend and implement improvements or upgrades to enhance insulation performance.
- Consult with clients or project managers to determine insulation needs based on factors like temperature requirements, acoustic considerations, or electrical insulation needs.
- Provide recommendations on the most suitable insulation materials and techniques for different environments.
- Collaborate with construction or maintenance teams to ensure proper installation according to specifications.
**Requirements**:
- JM Insulator (if Non-Ticketed a summary of hours must be provided, minimum 4000 hrs.)
- IRATA Level 1 or willingness to obtain

**Safety Requirements**
- CSTS/OSSA or OSSA BSO or OSSA CSO required
- CSE/M (Confined Space and Monitor and Entry) required
- ESC Fall Protection an asset
- A photo of either your IRATA card or certification.
- Photo or scan of your IRATA Logbook first page (Page with your photo ) and last experience page noting when you last worked.
- Copy of First Aid certificate if obtained.
