**_Catholic Social Services is currently recruiting for a multiple contract Community Disability Workers in Red Deer to work _**_overnight awake_**_ shifts. _**

**_Positions available:_**
- **_Full Time (40 hours/week)_**:

- **_Part Time (32 hours/week)_**

**Job Summary**:
As a Community Disability Worker, you will provide high quality supports to adults with developmental disabilities who live in the community.

Motivated, compassionate and organized, you will enthusiastically assist by providing residential and outreach supports while promoting dignity, independence and empowerment. Open to learning new things, you will teach independent living skills, provide companionship, support behavioral challenges, provide personal care, and implement programs tailored to individual needs. You will be required to accompany individuals on outings and engage in activities supporting their interests as well as their well-being. You are self-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working both independently and part of a service team. You have great relationship building skills and are proficient with computers.

**Please note this is an awake night shift position and shifts are 11:00pm-7:00am**

**Education & Qualifications**:

- Grade 12 education (or equivalent)
- Experience working with persons with developmental disabilities, behavior, & mental health
- Vulnerable Sector Check issued by RCMP or City Police
- Child Intervention Record Check
