Cleans entire bus interior by vacuuming, dusting, washing bus floors, walls, ceiling, windows, stanchions, seats, and dash area. Disinfects as needed/assigned. Also cleans and maintains shop area.

Visual concentration and attention to detail are constantly required. Sitting, standing, stretching, bending, and twisting are required when cleaning. Works in a shop area 100% of the time.

Follows legislation (e.g., health and safety, WHMIS) and takes steps to mitigate risks associated with chemicals, vehicle emissions, noise, moving vehicles/equipment, and other materials in the workplace.

Reading, writing, and math skills, attention to detail, plus 1 year of general labour experience.

Ability to work independently, while also following instructions.

Communication skills to exchange information with others (e.g., supervisor, co-workers) and participate as an effective team member.

Functional knowledge of the proper and safe operation and use of equipment related to job duties.

Ability to support and demonstrate the Region’s values.
