**Position: Millwright/Machinist**

**Shifts**: Straight days, Monday to Friday. Occasional OT as required.
**Pay Rate**: $25-$35/hour, according to level and relevant work experience.

**Job Overview**: We are seeking an energetic and ambitious individual to join our Maintenance department. As a Millwright/Machinist, you will play a key role in conducting regular inspections, preventative maintenance, installations, and repairs of industrial machinery. **Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of industrial machinery.
- Perform preventative maintenance on various types of equipment.
- Assemble and install new machinery, aligning and calibrating components.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure working environment.
- Use of laths, mills, drill presses and other machine shop equipment to make or alter parts.
- Have a keen eye for finished quality.
- Follow all safety rules and safe working procedures.
- Execute daily work instructions with strong attention to detail.
- Work under pressure, alone, or in a group with mínimal supervision.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, valves, cylinders, conveyor systems, gearboxes, and pumps.
- TIG, MIG, or ARC welding of steel, stainless, and aluminum.
- Operation of machine shop equipment i.e., lathes, mills, drill presses, etc.
- Maintenance and operation of machinery in the steel fabrication industry.

**Salary**: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
