Canteen Worker

Buhler Recreation Park is looking to hire workers for the 2023 season. 3 options are available.

For full time maintenance work season runs from the mid-end of April (weather permitting) to mid-end of September (end date can vary for university students). University students are preferred for this position. Job duties would include mmowing grass, field preparation, line painting and other general maintenance duties. Must be fit and able to work outdoors.

For part time work the season runs from May 1 (weather depending) to mid September. Part time evenings and weekends, approximately 3-20 hours a week.

For applicants aged 18+ job duties include serving alcohol and food from hut and/or canteen and cleaning. Smart Choices certification is required to serve alcohol (can be acquired after hiring). No experience necessary.

For applicants 15-17 years of age job duties include collecting gate fees, cooking (grilling burgers and hot dogs and deep frying foods) and cleaning.

Own mode of transportation needed as buses do not run to the park.

**Salary**: $14.15 per hour
