Duration: 1st year 1540 hours(times 2 resources), 2nd year 1540 hours

Remote: mostly remote with some on-site requirements. The resource may need to be available for on-site meetings or workshops with GRICS staff during normal business hours upon request. The GRICS offices are near the Viau metro in Montreal east.

Introduction:
IT Analyst

The IT analyst will mainly support the operations team in the implementation of this service, i.e., the migration of all software from a School Organization processing center to the environment managed by GRICS.

In particular, the IT Analyst is responsible for:
Working closely with various stakeholders to analyze, organize and execute the deployment plan as planned;
advising customers on the use of the service they have subscribed to, in accordance with the guidelines given.

The main activities of the IT Analyst include:
analyzing specific customer needs, identifying potential sources of difficulties and proposing recommendations and solutions;
monitoring the management of interactions, incidents and problems;
manage, install and update GRICS' current product environments and services;
execute the deployment plan in accordance with the planned schedule and deadlines;
contribute to the optimization and automation of deployment, validation, monitoring and other tools;
contribute to the implementation, evolution, optimization and monitoring of security mechanisms and platforms for GRICS software solutions in cloud mode;
draft user guides, procedures, messages and information documents;
maintain clear and consistent communication, both verbal and written, to understand data requirements and report results;
work closely with various stakeholders to analyze and carry out implementation work;
provide excellent customer service (especially to external customers).

The IT Analyst must meet the following minimum requirements:
have at least five (5) active years of experience as an IT analyst;
have completed at least two (2) ERP or data center outsourcing mandates within the last five (5) years.

The IT Analyst must master the following tools and languages:
Windows systems, plus Remote Desktop Services, IIS, web services management, SSL Certificate, etc;
automation using PowerShell/other available tools;
database management with Microsoft SQ ;
concepts related to service monitoring and availability;
understand concepts related to the administration of Microsoft Active Directory, Azure, Active Directory, identity management, RBAC concepts, CAP, and various tools;
server virtualization;
security systems such as firewall, SSL VPN, Anti-Virus;
basic networking concepts;
