Description
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for installing various types of cables as well as power and control panels. In addition, you will perform some validation tasks, such as continuity tests. You must have good technical knowledge and manual dexterity, as well as the ability to accurately follow the work instructions provided.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assemble project components according to established procedures and specifications.
- Participate in the fabrication of power and control panels as well as cables and harnesses
- Respect the established assembly times
- Carry out the required verifications to ensure the quality of the assembled products
- Perform power and functionality tests using specialized tools
- Strictly respect safety standards, company rules, quality standards and work procedures in effect
- Perform all other related tasks as requested by his/her superior.
Prerequisites
- Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in the field of cable and circuit assembly or any other relevant certification
- 1 to 2 years experience in a similar position
- Experience in an industrial environment
- Ability to read and interpret plans and schematics
- Fine dexterity combined with good concentration skills
- Demonstrate a professional attitude
- Excellent aptitude and attitude towards teamwork and ability to work independently
- Fluency in spoken and written French, English an asset
