**Overview**:
As a Preflight Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of aircraft components before they embark on their operational missions. This is a one-year contract position located in the vibrant aerospace hub of Montreal. Your meticulous attention to detail and comprehensive understanding of aircraft mechanics will contribute to the successful execution of preflight inspection processes.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components and systems to verify compliance with established procedures and industry standards.
- Utilize specialized tools and equipment to inspect the installation of various mechanical parts and components, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
- Perform pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical tests to assess the functionality and integrity of critical aircraft systems.
- Identify and document any discrepancies, defects, or potential safety hazards that could compromise the aircraft's performance or airworthiness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve issues identified during preflight inspections, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to project timelines.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) or Attestation of Collegial Studies (AEC) in Aircraft Maintenance, or equivalent.
- Valid M2 License or recognized equivalent, demonstrating proficiency in aircraft maintenance and inspection practices.
- Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and regulatory requirements governing preflight inspections.
- Proven experience conducting detailed inspections and tests in a fast-paced aerospace environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to accurately document inspection findings and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

**Salary**: $35.00-$42.00 per hour
