**CDP Surrey requires Shop/ Field Service Mechanic.**

**Applicants must have the following qualifications**:
1. Applicant with current Volvo Marine Engine training and experience would be considered an asset.

2. Applicant with Detroit Diesel and MTU engine experience would be considered an asset.

3. Good electrical & electronic skills.

4. Good computer skills.

5. Marine and Industrial experience would be considered an asset.

6. Large Diesel Engine experience would be considered an asset.

7. Detroit Diesel two cycle engine overhaul experience would be considered an asset.

8. Be prepared to work in other departments as required by workload demands.

9. Be prepared to work all shifts as per the union agreement.

10. Required to work out of town on a short notice.

11. Be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision and have excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.

12. Have a good customer relation’s record.

13. Possess good oral and written communicative skills.

14. Applicant must be aware that they will be required to be on call and on a rotation basis.

15. Applicant must participate in all web base and instructor led trainings.

Ø It is preferable that applicants have a class 1 driver’s license with an air brake endorsement; however, a Class 3 driver’s license with an air brake endorsement will be acceptable.

Ø Have current passport, as out of country training is required. When travel restrictions are lifted.

**Salary**: $50.47-$54.93 per hour
