Ielts Speaking Examiner

Description

We are looking for interested individuals who:

- Are certified and experienced so that they may join our team to provide seamless service and create a supportive, welcoming atmosphere.
- Demonstrate exceptional time management with a specific focus on ensuring smooth operations of scheduled testing, and who are able to adapt to shifting priorities without impediment.

IELTS Examiners are responsible for conducting speaking tests to IELTS standards. Most speaking examining shifts are typically held on Saturdays. Weekday testing is available in some locations.

Minimum Professional Requirements:

- An undergraduate or Master’s degree or a qualification which can be demonstrated to be equivalent to an undergraduate or Master’s degree.
- A recognized qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or recognized equivalent as part of a recognized university award course (e.g. CELTA, TESL Canada, TESL Ontario, ).
- At least 3 years’ full time (or the equivalent part time) relevant TESOL teaching experience (minimum one-year post-certificate level qualification). The majority of this teaching experience must relate to adult students (16 years and over).
- The required professional attributes and interpersonal skills.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time

**Salary**: $45-50 per hour

Schedule: Varies/must have weekend availability (Saturdays/2 per month and possibly 1-2 weekdays per month)

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- EFL / ESOLTeaching: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- TEFL / TESOL / EFL / ESOL / Degree in Education (required)
