The Project Salesperson is responsible for providing prompt courteous and efficient service to customers and contractors, advising them on appropriate merchandise and related items. Knowledge is required in lumber. doors, windows, vinyl siding, fences, ceramic tiles, garage doors. You need to know how to build a deck, install doors, windows, siding, insulation, drywall, flooring and more. A jack of trades kind of knowledge. Will work with the sales team in an integrated Hardware and Building Supply retail environment.
The goal is to go above and beyond the service expectations. This position must excel under pressure and have an ability to solve virtually any problem. This position requires the person to be enthusiastic, confident, dedicated, reliable, have strong leadership and organizational skills, and most importantly
- be a team player.

Qualifications:

- 7+ years of sales or related industry experience.
- Positive attitude and good work ethic.
- Well-developed selling and relationship management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort interacting with both new and existing customers.
- Self-motivated and driven to meet sales goals.
- Knowledge in estimating software and POS systems.
- Ability to work flexible hours based on store sale needs.
- Willingness to learn new products and processes to keep up with industry changes.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and to successfully prioritize, coordinate and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high quality work.
