**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring exceptional customer service is provided in a courteous manner to maintain our reputation for friendly, effective, and personalized experience.
- To assist customers with any questions and maintain good customer relations;
- To prepare, fill, rotate and maintain product displays, ensuring the quality of product meets Company standards;
- To be responsible for organizing and setting up the department;
- To assist in the ordering of all salad bar department supplies for efficient operations;
- To follow the set guidelines of the Salad Bar Program;
- To maintain the sanitation standards and safety procedures in accordance with Company policy;
- To assist in the directing and supervising of staff to secure efficient and courteous customer service;
- To assist in training new part time staff;
- To assume responsibility for managing the department in the absence of the manager;
- Other duties, as required.
- Exceptional customer service skills
- 1-2 years’ previous experience in a salad bar retail environment;
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including night shifts;
- Excellent organization, communication and interpersonal skills;
- Previous experience in a produce department a definite asset;
- Previous experience in creative and unique merchandising would be considered an asset;
- Ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment.
