Fowler Construction is seeking an AZ Float Driver to safely operate a tri-axle sized truck and trailer to ensure the transportation of equipment and heavy supplies to and from job sites and CDMC locations. Loading, securing loads, and unloading equipment and supplies safely and efficiently will also be required.

**Key Duties**:

- Perform appropriate trip inspections on equipment operation and load, ensuring safety and roadworthiness.
- Check vehicle before driving to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order.
- Check all load-related documentation to ensure that it is complete and accurate. Have appropriate permits and transponder if applicable.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with the public, customers, and co-workers.
- Complete and submit all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift. May include, but not limited to, daily logs, inspection logs, delivery receipts, vehicle inspection, hours of service, etc.
- Adhere to height and weight requirements.
- Train others when required.
- Work with crew if time permits to perform other assigned duties as required.
- Conduct yourself in a professional/mature manner.

**Requirements/Qualifications**:

- Must possess and maintain a valid AZ driver’s license and clean CVOR.
- Must be knowledgeable of height and weight requirements.
- Previous experience floating equipment.
- Ability to drive a standard transmission and operate air lift axle if applicable.
- Must be able to work with little supervision; must be self-directed.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs., step up and down into truck, sit, kneel, reach, and bend.
- Ability to read and write to ensure compliance paperwork is completed daily.

**Work Conditions**:

- Travel to various sites will be required.
- Indoor and outdoor environments in various weather conditions.
- Weekend and overtime work may be required.
