Summary:
**Retail Merchandiser Sales Development Canada**

**Responsibilities**:

- Clients/Brands Represented Familiarize with Clients and products at Retail
- Customer Relations Gain working knowledge of Customer relations by working with Customers and store personnel
- Store Conditions Achieve Client goals/objectives by effectively managing stores within assigned territory Increase brand representation/effectiveness through establishing and maintaining trade/Client relationships Gain working knowledge of Key Performance Indicators
- Merchandising Maintain Client objectives by ensuring all authorized items are represented on the shelf and tagged accurately Ensure unsaleable/out-of-code product is removed following Customer/Client guidelines
- Sales Increase sales volume through promotional activity by selling/building displays, creating themes to support holiday/special promo events, and perform resets
- New Items Ensure all authorized items are tagged and in distribution according
- Call Coverage Maintain frequency coverage

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Business related area or equivalent experience (required)
- Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers
- Excellent customer service orientation
- Good interpersonal skills
- Strong prioritization skills
- Decision making skills
- Analytical and research Skills
- Flexible and adaptable, able to change and alter according to changes in projects or business environment
- Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with mínimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines

**Position Summary**

The Supervisor’s responsibilities include but are not limited to: recruiting, training, coaching, motivating, tracking call completions, and managing the merchandising team.

**Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities**

- Must be readily available to help with merchandising in a number of stores and be on call when needed.

This position does not have guidance or mentoring responsibilities for indirect reports

**Travel and/or Driving Requirements**
- Travel and/or driving may be required for this job. Incumbent must have a valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle, unless they are working in an area with public transit.

**Minimum Qualifications**

Education Level**:(required)**: High School Diploma or GED** o**r equivalent experience

1-3 years of experience in retail Merchandising

**Skills, Knowledge and Abilities**
- Have cosmetic merchandising experience
- Be able to read and follow planograms and assemble store fixtures and displays
- Be organized and detail oriented
- Be a proactive, good problem solver, and possess excellent communication skills
- Have excellent time management skills and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines
- Supervisory and merchandising (reline) experience within a retail store environment is essential.
- Previous experience in understanding and following planograms, assemble fixtures and displays in-store is preferred.
- Experience leading a team
