**Role**:The room attendant is responsible for the cleanliness and security of our guest rooms, while providing a warm welcome and comforting stay for our guests.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring a courteous and helpful manner when in contact with guests and team members
- Keeping linen & supply closets clean, orderly, and properly stocked.
- Ensuring that vacuum is in good working order.
- Cleaning bathrooms, including toilet, bathtub, tiles, soap dishes, door and wiping down the guest room and furniture
- Dusting the A/C vents, both outlet and intake, room moldings
- Vacuuming the guest room, paying close attention to edges and behind drapes and bed skirts.
- Cleaning ceiling vents and removing any dust.
- Ensuring all lost and found items are brought to the Housekeeping Office in a timely manner.
- Notifying the Executive Housekeeper of any valuables found, as soon as possible.
- Completing maintenance request forms where needed
- Other duties that may be assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
- Self-motivated and responsible
- High school diploma/ Secondary school
- Previous experience in hospitality an asset

**Working Conditions**:

- Requires standing for extended periods of time.
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shift.
- Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, twisting throughout shift.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 45 lbs.
