We are currently seeking to expand our operations, looking for a motivated **Construction Site Supervisor** who likes being challenged with complicated, technical work in the **Western GTA**. The **Construction Site Supervisor** will be independent, proactive, have good planning, leadership and problem-solving skills. Responsible for managing and coordinating all on-site elements of projects including Health and Safety for the job site.

We specialize in the MUSH sector
- Ministries, Universities, Schools and Hospitals.

**Responsibilities**
- Supervising, scheduling and coordinating workers, subcontractors, suppliers and equipment as required ensuring the project is completed on schedule and budget.
- Liaise with project managers, designers, engineers, clients and governing authorities to achieve the scope of work.
- Ordering materials and supplies.
- Problem solving job site issues quickly and effectively to keep work on track and on time; manage and document job cost extras for review by the Project Manager.
- Follow fiscal policy set by Management.
- Conduct site meetings as required.
- Provide daily site and weekly safety reports; conduct safety talks.
- Ensure work is done in compliance with all OHSA Regulations and all applicable health & safety policies and procedures.

**Work Schedule**: Day Shift, Monday to Friday, weekends as required

**Reports to**: Vice President

**Qualifications**
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of construction drawings, specifications and schedules for the ICI industry and have experience with projects that range from $1M with no less than **10 years as a Construction Site Supervisor** in charge of the entire project.
- Journeyman certificate or undergraduate/engineering degree in a related discipline.
- Must have experience with ground up builds and additions.
- In-depth knowledge of and experience in the construction industry and company operations, including building materials, construction specifications, and methods and procedures.
- Ability to coordinate multiple scopes of a construction project, including scheduling, monitoring, and coordinating own forces work (OFW) and trade contractors with three-week lookahead schedules.
- Thorough understanding of productivity rates or own forces work (OFW), Labor Cost Reports (LCRs), and ability to interpret cost reports.
- Experience with COR required.
- Proficiency with Gantt charts and basic software, ie. excel/word/project.
- Gold Seal certificate is preferred.
