OPX Excavating & Landscaping Inc. is looking to add a Superintendent to our growing team We are looking for an individual who can take initiative, communicate clearly and effectively; and unite the office and field to allow for streamlined operation within the company. We want someone to lead by example and truly work as a team.
- in depth knowledge and field level experience in earthworks and civil pipework
- the ability to create and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors and general contractors
- experience managing jobsites related to our scope of work
- the ability to understand blueprint drawings
- a passion to support and implement the company safety program
- experience organizing multiple crews
- ability to identify potential problems and come up with effective solutions
- ability and experience creating scheduled and determining accurate manpower requirements for scheduled work

**Duties**
- Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors
- Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to resolve any design or construction issues
- Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking expenses, and approving invoices

**Minimum Requirements**:

- Drivers License
- 5-8 years experience in a management roll within the construction industry
- A firm understanding of the OSHA regulations
- Advanced knowledge in planning and management
