Visual-Eyes is a national software company that has been serving the optometric industry since 1996. We are a family-owned business based in Red Deer, seeking a full-time Senior Accounting Technician who can oversee the financials of multiple businesses. The team is a tightly knit group of like-minded individuals who collaborate closely with one another and work hard to achieve success. This role would report directly to the CEO. The primary focus would be working in conjunction with our current accounting team to manage all accounting tasks for multiple companies under common ownership.

**Primary duties**:

- **Accounting/Bookkeeping for multiple companies**:_
- Full cycle bookkeeping
- Accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Credit card and bank statement reconciliations, solving any issues that arise
- Various journal entries as required
- Preparing and filing PST & GST
- Month-end inventory adjustments
- Balancing inter-company loans
- Payroll and Benefit Management

**Requirements**:

- Must have excellent customer service & phone skills, typing accuracy, and thrive in high paced, multi-company office environment
- Laser sharp attention to detail
- Ability to be flexible and shift quickly in case of changing priorities
- Experience with QuickBooks desktop is required
- Relevant Diploma/Degree or Experience
